Evening programme:
On one evening, we will make a reservation for you in the delicious Bündnerstube in the village centre, which is a must-visit. On the other evenings you have full flexibility...
Whether it's pizza at the Catrina Resort, burgers at Nanjijala or local cuisine in one of the traditional restaurants in the village centre - anything is possible. We'll be happy to give you recommendations.

How to get here

Travelling by train

Sport65 19.- Euro Ticket:
Travel by train to your Sport65 destination and we will support you!
Help us to reduce the winter sports footprint. It's a small contribution, but big changes start small.
For local transfers, we will of course find you a seat in the Sport65 bus or van

Travelling by Sport65 coach or shuttle

There's no more comfortable, relaxed and above all sustainable way to get to the mountains!
On request, we can offer a pick-up service en route or a pick-up service at Frankfurt or Stuttgart airports as well as at railway stations along our route. Our bus is available on site for all transfers.

Departure point: Our departure point is directly at the Sport65 shop in Weinheim.
Address: Am Hauptbahnhof 8 - Im 3-Glocken Centre, 69469 Weinheim
Check-in time: Wednesday at 2.00 pm at the Ortovox Pow(d)erbar in the Sport65 Shop.
Car parking is available(fees see here). You can do some shopping for your trip in the shop. Already reserved rental equipment can be selected, tried on and adjusted at check-in in the Sport65 rental & test centre - it will be loaded directly onto the bus.
Departure time: Wednesday 2.30 pm
Return journey: Sunday after skiing approx. 16.00 hrs

Arrival on your own:

You can see the exact address of your accommodation in the Hotel tab and will be sent to you with the final travel update at least 5 days before the start of the trip.

Arrival: On the day of arrival in the afternoon/evening - individual check-in at the accommodation
Meeting & briefing with the guides: Either we will see each other on the evening of arrival or for breakfast on the first day of skiing, approx. 7.30 a.m
Departure: After skiing on the last day of skiing, approx. 4.00 pm

Accommodation - Hotel Catrina 3*, Disentis - EN

Our favourite hotel right next to the gondola

All rooms are large and newly furnished, and there is a first-class wellness area with sauna, steam baths and indoor pool.
We walk to the gondola, we don't need a car or bus - and if we return by train from Sedrun, the Oberalp Pass or Andermatt, we only have to walk about 150-200 metres and the famous "Nangijala" is only 3-4 minutes away on foot...

Facilities and services:

Ski area - Disentis 3000 - EN

Disentis, a very special freeride spot!

After a little hiking you will find gullies, couloirs, open, treeless slopes waiting to be skied - here you can still find untracked terrain days after a snowfall.
The "runs" often lead into secluded valleys, from where you can take the Oberalpbahn (which is a highlight) back to the Disentis mountain railway or the hotel at any time....
Our basics as well as advanced and experts will find their "dream runs" here.
You quickly come into contact with the few locals, shake hands, know the lift boys and enjoy their envious looks when you immediately get out of the upper lift onto the slopes that have been untouched for days...

And after a day of skiing...
Our tip is definitely the Nangijala, the pub owned by a few ski bums, where there is always happy hour in the afternoon and concerts are often held at the weekend.

Ski area - Gotthard Oberalp Arena Sedrun-Andermatt - EN

Wow - a top-class ski circuit with ultimate freeride potential!

From the start either in Disentis or in Dieni near Sedrun, you can head straight for super beautiful freeride slopes that stretch out in all exposures.
There are huge slopes right at the top around the connecting lifts at the Alpsu cable car station - and (insider tip!) always far fewer off-piste freaks than on the Gemsstock.
From there, you can ski all the way down to Andermatt.
Together with the Gemsstock, Andermatt is one of the absolute top freeride spots in the world and one of the most snow-sure winter sports resorts in Switzerland.

Tips for freeriders / off-piste skiers / tourers:
No words really! The runs in Andermatt are steep and north-facing, descending up to 1,500 metres in altitude.
The Felsental and Guspis are two of the well-known variants in the Gotthard region, each with 1,500 metres of unprepared terrain.
The best thing about Andermatt, however, is that it can definitely be described as "easy access" terrain - without much effort with short ascents, it offers great opportunities away from the freeride masses that you can quickly tap into.
